Squall Leonhart & Quistis Trêpe of Final Fantasy VIII.
Obviously, they're not wearing the same clothes as they were wearing in the flashbacks in the game, but I thought they must've had more than one set of clothes.

A long overdue piece for :iconseishinkibou: *SeishinKibou for winning a contest over at :iconthetrepies: #theTrepies. She wanted a pic of Squall and Quistis, and I've always wanted to draw them as children, so here they are.
Little Quisty is trying to hold little Squall's hand. :heart: He's not reciprocating, but he's not resisting, either.


I'm entering this piece into the :iconfanartintegrityclub: #FanArtIntegrityClub's "Summer Days & Nights" contest, 'cos it is supposed to have that warm, summery feeling to it, what with their bare feet and the blue sky and sparkling ocean behind them.

This is beautiful! I love that it's done traditionally, it has a very summery feel, and it's got some subtle emotional play there that's just wonderful. ^^
